With deep sorrow we acknowledged that Horst Westerholt has passed away at the age of 73 on January 20th, 2025.

Horst was one of the founding fathers of the IJMC in the 1990s and was a long time acting as the judge in the IJMC. Horst was a good, almost fatherly friend and comrade to many and we will miss him very much.

The IJMC will always honor Horst‘s memory.

With deep sorrow we learned that Jean-Pierre Fillon has passed away on January 17th, 2025.

Jean-Pierre was the co-founder of the IJMC France and the driving force behind the set-up of the french RC jet team. He had been passionate about RC jet flying since the early 1980s and had been devoted to the Mach 2.2 and french RC jet community.

The IJMC will miss him and always honor Jean-Pierre‘s memory.
