IJMC World Champion 2023
Jet Scale 20kg Class
In my free time, I'm often drawn to the fresh air, where I love to explore the world and nature with my partner. These trips help me to clear my head and recharge my batteries. I also spend a lot of time playing volleyball, a hobby that, along with flying, has inspired me since my youth.
However, I spend most of the year pursuing my passion for model flying. I am now the third generation of model pilots in my family and have been infected with the enthusiasm for this hobby since childhood, so to speak. At the beginning of my model flying career, I was fascinated by the technology and the technical challenges that this hobby entails. I quickly learned how important patience and precision are when building and controlling models. For many years now, I have also been able to present fantastic models as a team pilot for Carf-Models all over the world, and this support has also helped me on my way.
What defines me
It is important to me to find a balance between professional success and personal fulfillment. In my job as a project engineer in IT, I enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems and developing innovative solutions. At the same time, I find a balance in model flying that fills me with a deep sense of satisfaction. This hobby is not only a passion for me, but also a constant drive to develop myself further and perfect my skills.
I reached a particular high point in my model flying career in 2023 when I won the title in the 20 kg class at the IJMC Jet World Championships. This success was the result of years of hard work and passion for scale model flying - and it confirms that I will continue on my path with the same dedication.
