With great sadness we have to say goodbye to one of the founding fathers of the IJMC, Peter Cmyral. Peter passed away on July 14th, 2025 at the age of 74.

Peter was a good fellow and the good spirit of the Austrian Team and well known far beyond all borders. His personal commitment to the third JWM in Zeltweg 1999 remains unforgotten. Peter participated still as a pilot until the JWM in Meiringen 2013. He played a decisive role in shaping the jet scene in Austria as the Team Manager as well, he left his mark on and off the field and never lost his heart and passion for jet flying.
