The IJMC was once again professionally staged by Yves Van Cutsem at the Jet Power fair by means of the very attractive booth. This year, we were able to present Lucien Gerard's Fantrainer 600 as the Jet World Masters model. Many visitors were deeply impressed by the technology and detailed solutions built into the Fantrainer model.
For us at IJMC, it was important to review and conclude the 15th World Championship in Norway with the pilots and guests so that we can already start working on the preparations for the 16th IJMC Jet World Masters 2027 in Bölsdorf, Germany.
One question that was frequently asked was about the future of the Giant Class. Many pilots and guests would like to see this class reintegrated into the competition in Bölsdorf, as the sheer size of the models impressed many visitors and definitely contributed to the overall appeal of the event. The IJMC will work on this issue with the organizer in Bölsdorf in the future in order to achieve planning security in this regard.
It was also important for the IJMC to reconfirm the presence and support of the main sponsors. Final-Modellbau could be engaged as another sponsor, and a second company from the RC servo sector, most probably might be added as a further sponsor.
Initial discussions regarding the organization of the 17th Jet World Masters 2029 have become more concrete and are being pursued by the potential host country. We will see how developments in the host country continue to take shape and are implemented.
For Jet Power in 2026, we have agreed with the organizer of the JP fair that the IJMC might also receive flight slots in the future in order to present the current world champion pilots and -models to the public in an even more attractive way.
We are looking forward to the next Jet Power trade fair in 2026 and will keep you informed.
